Marisca Claasen obtained her Occupational Therapy degree from the University of the Free State. She established her practice in early 2024 in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. Her practice is distinguished by a compassionate approach that focuses on recognizing and enhancing each individual's abilities, empowering them to achieve their full potential and independence in everyday tasks and activities.
Marisca offers a comprehensive range of services to diverse clients, including those with physical, psychological, and peadiatric needs. She is particularly passionate about physical rehabilitation, neurological recovery, community service, and peadiatric therapy.
Services are provided in settings that best meet the client's needs; encompassing schools, home visits, workplace, and community reintegration settings. Marisca also conducts group therapy sessions and facilitates workshops and discussions for schools, as well as for parents and teachers.
